YAY!!!
Well, I'm not even a soccer fan, but I'm happy tonight, for a lot of different reasons:
1)our team was *a team* not a collection of primadonnas competing for the limelight.
2)the German and French press has been very unfair, in my opinion: the trouble with soccer at home doesn't involve foul play on the side of the players, it's a matter of clubs'executives.
3)the relationship with our French 'cousins' has always been a love/hate one, we are, more or less, traditional rivals.
4) after what Zidane did, I would have hated it if we had lost the match...
