Poetry Fishbowl and the Origami Mage

An interesting thing happened in the last two Poetry Fishbowls  .

In March, the theme was elements and elemental spirits, stretching it a bit, I offered 'origami magic' as a prompt (after all if both wood and water are elements, paper as a secondary element would fit, wouldn't it? ).

The result was 'Folded Wings' and... a very pleasant kind of mayhem ensued, at least 2 people wanted to sponsor it and quite a few more said they wanted more poems (one even wanted a series of novels) about the origami mage.

April's theme was 'high fantasy', and I couldn't resist, my prompt was 'a magic duel / competition / competitive quest between the origami mage and a kirigami mage'.

Once again [livejournal.com profile] ysabetwordsmith rose to the challenge, and wrote "Cutting and Folding" that, again, was very much liked.

[livejournal.com profile] ysabetwordsmith  and I commented back and forth, I asked her permission to submit the origami mage as a prompt for the next sketch-fest  and the idea came up of a possible crowd-funding project : a collection of poems and illustrations by different artists about a whole school of origami mages (and possibly a few other schools too: kirigami, for instance).

Would you be interested in a project of this kind?
