What do you do with multiple-copy books or those books you pick up on a whim and then discover aren't really ( I mean, REALLY) the kind of books you enjoy?
I always gave them to my local library, but they are out of space for donations since last year, and so those book remained parked in boxes or over shelves waiting for a new home (since for our family, here, the eleventh commandment is 'Thou shall never throw away a book' ).
Yesterday, by absolute chance, I read mention of a book-swapping site (it's like a free club, you sign-in, list the books you would like and those you want to give away, if someone is interested in a book on your list they request it and you mail it, same for books *you* want, the mailing is the only expense).
I looked immediately, but it seemed book-swapping sites were restricted to addresses in the USA only...
And then I found Bookmooch
http://bookmooch.com/
it works world-wide, it's free, it sounds easy...and I already have a 32-item wishlist up there (and a few books of mine listed as well). Anyone else?
