I must say though that in a recent thread on Kindle Board about 'Fantasy wishlists' the issue has came up, with people speaking out for meaningful sacrifice; less 'shades of grey', morally ambiguous characters; adult or middle-aged main characters and 'good stories that make you think'. It gives one hope.
